Buyer Coventry 25K-30K dependant on experience Our clients are one of the UK's leading online retailers of packaging, with over 80,000 customer visits per month. They are a dynamic company growing at a fantastic rate through innovation and working hard. Due to continued success they are looking for a Buyer to join their team. This role may be suitable for an assistant buyer who is looking to further their career. For this role they are looking for someone who stands out from the crowd when it comes to drive, ambition and entrepreneurial flair. The ideal candidate will have:- o Previous buying, purchasing and stock control experience o Sound purchasing skills including; sourcing expertise, negotiation and supplier performance management o Knowledge in supply and delivery o Proven knowledge of procurement practices in a customer led business environment o Experience with UK based suppliers and sourcing new suppliers o Costing and estimation experience o CIP Qualification - desirable but not essential o Excellent interpersonal skills o High level of attention to detail o Tenacity and strong negotiation skills o Sound business acumen Most of all you must be highly ambitious and motivated to succeed, as this is an excellent opportunity for someone to make the job their own.
